Pedro Fabião da Silva Pinto
Pedro was born in Oporto in 1981, having lived in Oporto, Braga, Coimbra (Portugal), S. Salvador da Bahia (Brazil), Valencia (Spain), Tübingen (Germany) and Paris.
He's got a degree in Psychology by the University of Coimbra and trained also in Psychodrama.
Since 1997, extensive training as an actor, being the most important with António Fonseca, José Miguel Braga, Marcantonio D’el Carlo (1997/99), Carmen Paternostro e Rafael Moraes, (Brazil – 2001/02), Cristina do Aido, José de Abreu Fonseca, Carla Bolito, Nuno Coelho, Volker Quandt (2002/05), Paulo Castro, Rodrigo Malvar e Catarina Lacerda, Denis Bernard (2005-2006), Sergio Claramunt (2007) and Philippe Gaulier (2008-2009).
He has collaborated as an actor in different theatre companies, such as Sindicato de Poesia (Braga), Teatro do Morcego (Coimbra), Teatro do Frio (Oporto), and mainly CITAC (Coimbra), where his collaboration extended to directing and production. He performed in more than a dozen plays with these companies.
During the last 6 years, frequent training in clowning with masters as Rafael Moraes (Brazil – 2002), Gabriel Chame Buendia (2004), Sergio Claramunt (2005/07), Koldovico Via e Nicolas Bernard (2007), Ângela de Castro, Luísa Sanchez Gaillard, Ami Hattab (2008, 2009) and Philippe Gaulier (2009).
He has also been teaching in several clown workshops in amateur and university theatre groups as well as in theatre festivals.
Since 2004, he integrates the artistic team of Operação Nariz Vermelho (ONV), the Portuguese professional hospital clowning group.
In January 2007 he founds Alter-Lego Company with Juantxo Berasategui, whose debut show “Ditu&Feitu”, under the direction of Sergio Claramunt, is performed for the first time in July of the same year.
Since the second half of 2008 he's been studying with Philippe Gaulier in Paris.
Juantxo Berasategui Verástegui
Juantxo was born in Segorbe (Spain) in 1980. He lived in Valencia lost of his life, with the exception of one year in England and two in Portugal, with many other travels in between.
He has a degree in Medicine by Valencia University. He now also works as a M.D. and will soon start his specialization training.
He started his artistic training in 1999, doing several juggling and aerobatics workshops in Valencia’s Circus association. From 2003 on, he attended many clown workshops with Sergio Claramunt, Jesús Jara, Koldovico Vio, Nicola Bernard, Ami Hattab among others. He finished the theatre course offered by CITAC (Coimbra – Portugal). He also attended workshops on physical theatre, improvisation, Buffon, voice, Neutral Mask, etc.
He works frequently with Viviendo del Cuento Theatre (Valencia) in different animation events since 1999.
He integrates the artistic team of PayaSOSpital (hospital clowning) since July 2003. For two years (2004/2005) he also joins Operação Nariz Vermelho (hospital clowning – Portugal). He worked in CITAC (Coimbra – Portugal) in several theatre projects.
He won the 3rd prize of the Homens-Estátua Contest in Espinho (contest of living statues, Portugal) in June 2005 with the statue “Afogando as Mágoas”.
Founder, together with Pedro Fabião, of the Alter-Lego theatre company. Also, in 2008, founder of Compañia Aerea with Jimena Cavaletti and Luka Soriano. He's been touring Europe and South America with the latest show "Usted está aquí" ("You are here").
